Hwaseong Fortress: A Platform for All Things
King Jeongjo, in completing Suwon Hwaseong, envisioned an ideal city where
people, nature, and systems coexisted in perfect harmony.
This artwork reinterprets Hwaseong as a "platform for all things," where the material and the conceptual worlds merge beyond the boundaries of time and space presented as a vision of Neotopia.

Drawing inspiration from the folk paintings of the Jeongjo era,
the artist adopts traditional motifs and free-spirited colors, illustrating an ideal world
not through Western linear perspective, but through a multi-perspective structure.
Embedded within this vision are the ideals King Jeongjo cherished 'Inin Hwarak(harmony and joy among all people, 人人和樂)' and 'Hohu Busil(prosperity in every household, 戶戶富實)'.
